The Knowledge Hub is an interdisciplinary educational hub that hosts Coventry University as their most prestigious educational institution.

Currently redefining Egypt’s educational field, it provides its students with an intellectually stimulating experience. Representing a new movement in critical education, it also aims to substantially elevate and modernize the higher educational sector in the country.
The concept of the hub itself was inspired by its collective and vibrant function as a space. In this way, not only does The Knowledge Hub fuse progressive people and ideas - it brings international universities together in one dynamic space, creating an ecosystem of expansive learning.

The logo, the nucleus around which all of TKH’s principles manifest, is an ode to this dynamic fusion. Taking inspiration from the blueprints of the universities found on campus, the logo fuses the faculties together – creating the word-mark: ‘KH’. In this way, the hub’s principles are brought to life.

We wanted to pencil in this thought process on an even deeper level in our visual touch-points and graphic elements.Given the ever-changing nature of TKH’s Campus and offerings, we wanted to create a way-finding system that can cater to these fluctuations. We implemented an interchangeable system comprised of various pieces that fit into this directional jigsaw that can be reconfigured when needed.

Coming to the departmental emblems, we’ve taken a single graphic element from the logo itself and injected it with various approaches to create a dynamic visual language that illustrate the departments themselves. Roman columns for law, dot-matrices for tech, concentric circles for engineering to point out a few.
